Escorts India is a major company with business interests in a wide variety of markets including Agricultural/Automotive, Finance, Construction and healthcare to name but a few. Their tractor manufacturing plant has a capacity for 75,000 tractors per year, making it the largest tractor manufacturing plant in one location in the world. Escorts are the only tractor manufacturing company to be awarded the prestigious TS16949 design certification.
Traditionally sold under the name of ESCORTS in the US, African and Asian markets, Farmtrac is a relative newcomer to the European markets. While Ireland was the first country to embrace this new and exciting brand we have now been joined by France, Germany, Denmark, Finland, and many other European countries.
While the Farmtrac brand may be new to European farmers, Farmtrac use top quality, reliable and well known components, like Perkins engines and Cararro transmissions, in their assemblies. Since their introduction to Ireland in 2003, Farmtrac have acquired a reputation as a very reliable and lively workhorse with a spacious cab, good lighting and visability — all at a very competitive price tag.
The 80 horsepower model, Farmtrac 80, is the brands’ best Irish seller, and is currently the biggest in the range but 95hp & 110hp tractors are in the design and production stage for 2009 and 120hp & 130hp for after 2010.

Collins Farm Machinery was appointed Irish Distributor for Farmtrac Tractors in April 2003 shortly after Farmtrac Tractors Europe was established by it’s parent company Escorts Ltd, a US$ 500 million conglomerate, in India. |
